Today is Australia Day. Despite the heavy rain this morning I went down to the harbour to see some of the events. The highlight of the day (for the second year in a row) was the display by the Australian Defence Forces.
- How to get a boat into Australia – load it up with beer, a bbq, and paint the aussie flag on the front.
- Ferrython
- Spectator craft following the ferrys
- IMHO the best dressed ferry
- Spectators along the foreshore
- Sydney Cove 224 years since the arrival of the first fleet
- Australia – koalas, kangaroos, and Holden
- RAN Sea King Helicopter
- Police boat
- The biggest Australian flag I have ever seen
- RAAF F/A-18 Hornets
- So fast, so low
- Police Helicopter over Circular Quay
- Australian Army Red Berets
- Darling Harbour at 7pm
