One of my goals this year is to try and just spend time doing whatever I want, not feeling pressured by what outside influences want and to spend my time not at work doing whatever takes my fancy. :-)

However many politicians are so busy trying to score points against each other rather than coming up with seriously good debate or policies that will work. Why don't we pay politicians based on a performance vote by their constituents, or pay them less the longer they are in parliment so we only have those who are truly dedicated to making NZ a better place. Many people vote for what they want, not what will actually be in the best interest of the country.
